Can you afford to redecorate an entire room all at once? If you’re like me, the answer is definitely no! But, what you can do, is make small changes that will refresh your spaces and give you that lift you need ~ almost like you have a whole new room!

Rearrange ~ Is the furniture in your rooms in the same arrangement it’s been in since you moved in? I’ve rarely seen a room that could not be arranged in a different layout, and many times for the better. Depending on your room and what’s currently in the space, you may need to eliminate some pieces to achieve this, but give it a try!

Feeling inspired to paint a room or the exterior of your Bay Area home? Do it! Adding color to your home is the single best way to make the most dramatic effect, and is also the most affordable! But, as anxious as you might be to dash to your nearest paint store, select a color off the sample swatches, then dive straight into your project, don’t do it. You can save yourself a lot of time, labor and investment by just planning ahead a little. And, if you hire a painting contractor to do the work, this planning could really save you some money!

It’s always exciting to get a new place to live! You can own it or rent it, but the feeling is still the same ~ you want to make it your own; have it reflect who you are and what’s comfortable and inviting to you. Even if you’ve been fully furnished and decorated in a previous home, there are inevitable changes that will occur because of the new space.
